Jennifer Stewart, a seasoned educator with extensive experience as a principal and assistant principal in various school districts, transitioned into entrepreneurship by establishing her own childcare center, Three Peas Learning Academy.

Recognizing the need for a compelling business plan to secure financing, she sought assistance from the Texas Tech SBDC in Lubbock. With their support, Jennifer developed a comprehensive plan outlining the business opportunity, financial projections, and market research, enabling her to secure a loan from the bank. Utilizing her expertise and the SBDC's guidance, she negotiated a turnkey buildout for the center, which has already generated significant interest with a waiting list for enrollment.
